1. MHD Watches – MHD 10

The Ultimate Automotive Showstopper

MHD Watches was a completely new brand to me. As I was browsing their table, my eyes were immediately drawn to a brilliant grey and orange dial combination paired with a contrasting orange leather strap. But it wasn’t until I picked the watch up that its unique case design truly took my breath away.

After talking to the founder, Matthew, about the piece, it became crystal clear that his background in automotive design translates directly into his horology. You can feel the 10 years’ worth of design refinement poured into this watch—it just works.

Why It Stood Out: To me, this felt like the most complete watch on the floor. It perfectly aligns with my personal taste. From the speedo-inspired automotive sandwich dial layout to the skeletonised chassis with its black DLC-coated internal barrel, it’s a masterclass in details. At 39mm, it sits right in my sweet spot for case dimensions, and the bright orange lume accents on the dial give it incredible personality. It’s a stunning watch that would elevate any collection, and I am definitely keeping a very close eye on it.

2. Alpharo Watches – Model 1

A Masterclass in Curved Geometry

I had previously seen a few photos online of the Alpharo Model 1 and its unusual curved hand design, but I hadn’t really delved into the finer details. Needless to say, seeing this watch up close and personal completely changed the game. It was easily one of the most visually beautiful and unique watches of the entire event.

Why It Stood Out: The dial is gorgeous. It features a spiral, non-Euclidean geometry design that plays with light so beautifully that the watch takes on a completely new look from every single angle. It is genuinely mesmerising—there is a sense of depth and texture that makes the dial feel alive. You just want to stare at it. My personal favourite variant was the “Galaxy Black” with its smoky, fumé gradient finish. Paired with those world-first curved hands that perfectly trace the flow of the dial, it feels like a true avant-garde statement piece. It’s no surprise these are currently completely sold out with a massive crowd eagerly awaiting a restock.

3. Adley Watches – BMT-T1

A retro-futuristic masterpiece.

I had stumbled across Adley and their BMT model on socials a little while ago. While I appreciated the brand for trying something radically different, I initially dismissed it, thinking “it’s just not my style.” Seeing it in the metal proved me wrong—so very wrong.

I had a great chat with the owner, Jordan, and it’s clear that Adley has an ironclad grasp on its identity and its core inspiration: BMX culture. That influence translates beautifully into the BMT-T1. I originally thought the angular, ramp-inspired case architecture would look too wild or wear too large, but on the wrist, it sits perfectly. The dial looks incredibly cohesive in person; it’s a beautiful, engaging space packed with intricate, geometric nods to the sport. The watch has genuine soul—it’s retro but beautifully refined. The “Endo Green” dial was my absolute favourite, though the blue and white variants were equally impressive. Seeing Jordan’s passion as he explained how he is still meticulously tweaking and refining the prototypes proved that every ounce of his energy is built directly into this true GMT.

4. BVOR – Vision

Proof big can be beautiful

BVOR was another brand I had followed passively on social media without digging deep into their specific concept or dimensions. That will definitely be changing after today, because their Vision collection was a major winner on the floor.

Why It Stood Out: This watch completely shattered two of my long-standing watch-collecting biases: first, that anything over 42mm is inherently too big for my wrist, and second, that all-black stealth watches aren’t for me. The Vision packs some serious wrist presence with its 42mm x 40mm square case shape and a 53mm lug-to-lug distance. If I had only seen those specs online, I probably would have scrolled right past them. But on the wrist? It feels compact, ergonomic, and surprisingly balanced. The square case gives it a bold, architectural edge that completely stands out from the crowd. While it comes in four distinct variations, the all-black PVD model completely stole my attention—giving the watch an incredibly sleek, high-end stealth look.

5. Sher Watches – Sher Kids Watch

A True grown-up watch for the younger generation

It’s always great when a brand decides to venture away from the beaten path to do something completely different, and it’s even better when they execute it flawlessly. The Kids Watch from Sher Watches is practical, educational, and genuinely fun.

Why It Stood Out: As a father to two young daughters (currently 3 years old and 6 months old), this one hit close to home. They might be a bit too young to need a watch right now, but being raised by a collector means they are constantly surrounded by them. My oldest is already curious, asking me, “Why do you need so many watches, Daddy?” or “When I am bigger, can I wear that one?” When the time comes for them to learn to tell the time, having a high-quality, robust piece will be invaluable. Sher has built a serious, grown-up watch tailored for kids. With its offset hour markers, distinct dial sectors to visually break down the minutes, a robust screw-down crown, and a massive 100m of water resistance, it’s a proper tool watch built to survive the playground. I know my girls are going to love wearing these when they get a bit older.
