Farquhar Watch Co. is a gritty, independent Scottish microbrand founded by passionate watch builder Kevin Farquhar. Operating out of the coastal town of Buckie in Northeast Scotland. Farquhar serves as a dedicated, small-batch workshop focused on heavy-duty durability, lightweight forged composites, and technical dive instruments—proudly designing, prototyping, hand-assembling, and pressure-testing every single piece locally in Scotland.

Farquhar’s visual signature is defined by its bold, hyper-utilitarian case architecture, deep spatial contrast, and a distinct reliance on high-tech industrial materials. The absolute calling card of the brand is its masterful deployment of ultra-lightweight, multi-layered bi-directional carbon fibre and forged carbon components, which offer high-impact protection while keeping the watch exceptionally light on the wrist. Their design language leans heavily into tactical instrumentation, often combining rugged matte case elements with high-contrast, maximum-visibility dials and intense applications of Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 for low-light legibility out in the elements.
