Hilli Watch Company is an independent British microbrand founded by watch collector and enthusiast Chris Hill in London, United Kingdom. Built from a concept sketch born out of years of collecting, studying, and appreciating classic 1960s and 1970s racing chronographs, the brand was established with a singular focus on proportion, balance, and visual restraint. HILLI focus on delivering the architectural discipline, high-grade finishing, and material standards of traditional motoring timepieces without excess markup. all packed up in visually appealing colourful dials.
HILLI’s visual signature is characterised by punchy retro-modern panda dial layouts, sharp case contrast, and deliberate ergonomic proportions. The brand features a brushed 316L stainless steel case measuring a universally wearable 39mm in diameter (47mm lug-to-lug) with high-polish bevelled chamfers, paired with a fixed 40mm matte black sand-blasted ceramic tachymeter bezel. Dials prioritise high legibility and playful motoring heritage—offering classic tri-register panda and reverse panda configurations accented with vibrant pops of colour ranging from pink, green, and blue to traditional silver and black.
TWJ Favourite Watch
You could make a case for each dial variant in Hilli’s debut watch range, the Sport Chronograph, but perhaps the most eye catching for me is the Blue Panda. The contrast of the lighter Blue against the black bezel really stands out and is perfectly complemented by the black and white sub-dials.
